The wine Pasanau Ceps Nous is the entry-level red of bodega Pasanau, a family winery based in La Morera del Montsant, DOQ Priorat.
This blended Spanish red wine is made from 50% Grenache, 21% Carignan, 15% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc 3% and 2% Syrah, sourced from certified organic vineyards planted from 2000 onwards in sandy and calcareous marl soils at 300 to 700 metres above sea level.
Harvested in mid September, this red wine from Priorat was fermented in stainless steel tanks with daily pump-overs. Transferred into French oak barrels, the red wine Pasanau Ceps Nous 2022 was aged for 7 months before being bottled in May 2024.
This Crianza red wine was cellared for no less than 1 year before hitting the market.
