The wine Pasanau Los Torrents is a fine expression of the mineral-driven reds that have earned the DOQ Priorat worldwide acclaim.
Bodega Pasanau, a family project based in the village of La Morera de Montsant, made this blended Spanish red wine with 54% Carignan and 46% Grenache, sourced from Paratge Los Torrents, a lieux-dit with llicorella (slate) soils planted with two certified organic plots, one of Carignan, on the west side, and one of Grenache on the east side.
Harvested in mid September, the grapes fermented for 35 days in stainless steel tanks with daily pump- overs. Afer that, this red wine from Priorat was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 18 months.
Bottled in March 2024, the red wine Pasanau Los Torrents 2021 was kept for no less than 12 months in the cellar before its commercial release.
We suggest aerating this organic red wine before drinking.
