Made by Bodega Pasanau, the red wine Pasanau Vi de Vila Poboleda comes from one of DOQ Priorat's freshest areas.
A blend of 88% Grenache and 12% Carignan, this Spanish red wine – labelled as Village Wine or Vi de Vila – is sourced from two plots certified organic, Salanques and Mas nou, planted in slate soils in the vicinity of Poboleda, at roughly 300 metres of altitude.
After fermenting in stainless steel tanks for 29 days with daily pump-overs, this red wine from Priorat was transferred into 225-litre French oak barrels, where it was aged for 8 months.
Bottled in April 2023, the red wine Pasanau Vi de Vila Poboleda 2021 was cellared for no less than 2 years in the cellar before hitting the market.
We suggest aerating this Crianza red wine before drinking.
