Details
The impressive white wine O Raio da Vella Albariño proves that not many Albariño producers can compare with top-notch Galician winemaker Rodrigo Méndez.
This varietal Spanish white wine is sourced from a less than 1 hectare plot with granitic soils located near the village of Meaño, DO Rías Baixas.
The grapes were hand-picked and then this Crianza white wine was fermented with native yeasts in 1,500-litre oak vats.
Subsequently, the white wine Rodrigo Méndez O Raio da Vella Albariño 2024 matured for 12 months in the said diposits.
Once bottled, this white wine from Rías Baixas was stored for some months before being released onto the market.
3,000 bottles produced.
