Produced by the Torelló winery, a member of the Corpinnat association of producers, the wine Torelló 3a 20/21/22 Brut Nature is an unconventional Spanish sparkling wine made from a blend of three vintages.
This non-vintage Corpinnat brut nature sparkling wine was sourced from Finca Can Martí, a 135- hectare estate with clay-limestone soils farmed following the principles of organic agriculture.
This blended brut nature organic sparkling wine is made from the traditional Penedès varieties: Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada. The grapes come from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 vintages.
After a manual harvest and a meticulous selection, the grapes were pressed under nitrogen to protect the must from oxidation using the Inertys system. After completing alcoholic fermentation and making the definitive blend, the sparkling wine Torelló 3a 20/21/22 Brut Nature went through secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for no less than 36 months.
Finally, this small-batch Corpinnat organic sparkling wine - one of the bottlings of the Microvinificacions project of bodega Torelló - was disgorged with no sugar added on the date printed on the back label.
