Produced by Bodegas Valderiz, the wine Valdehermoso Crianza comes from vineyards located in Roa de Duero, Burgos, in the heart of DO Ribera del Duero.
This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from three Tinta del País parcels: La Gloria, Portillo and La Guindalera, with sand, cobble and limestone soils. Besides being certified organic, the vines are tended following biodynamic principles.
The grapes were spontaneously fermented in concrete diposits, after which this Crianza red wine also completed malolactic fermentation in concrete.
Subsequently, the red wine Valdehermoso Crianza 2022 was aged for 18 months in – mainly - French and American oak barrels, new and used.
After bottling, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was stored for some time in the cellar before being released onto the market.
