The wine Valderiz Juegabolos is the only single vineyard bottling of Bodegas Valderiz, a family-owned winery located in Roa, DO Ribera del Duero, with a strong committment to the principles of organic and biodynamic viticulture.
Made from estate-grown Tinta del País grapes, this red wine from Ribera del Duero is sourced from Juegabolos, a vineyard located amidst a pristine environment and composed of cobbled and clay soils.
The grapes were spontaneously fermented in oak vats with a gentle extraction. After that, this Spanish red wine went through malolactic fermentation in barrels.
Then the red wine Valderiz Juegabolos 2020 was transferred into 225-litre French and American (20%) oak barrels, in which it was aged for a period of 28 months.
Once bottled, this Reserva red wine matured for some time in the cellar before being released onto the market.
