Made by Bodegas Valderiz, this red wine from Ribera del Duero is made essentially from Tinta del País, with a 5% of Albillo Mayor, a native white vareity. The grapes are sourced from La Guindalera, a certified organic vineyards with clay, sand and limestone soils.
This Crianza red wine was spontaneously fermented in concrete diposits, with a mild extraction of tannin and colour. After that, it was transferred into wooden vats, barrels and concrete diposits, in which it matured for 12 months.
Before hitting the market, the wine Valderiz de Chiripa 2022 was stored for some time in the cellar.
