Viña Salceda Entresierras 2023
This is the maiden vintage of the white wine Viña Salceda Entresierras, one of the bottlings of the Gama Parajes collection of bodega Viña Salceda, created by winemaker David González to explore some the most interesting terroirs of the DOCa Rioja.
This Spanish white wine is almost entirely made from Viura - sourced from vineyards located in Alto Najerilla and La Sonsierra – with 7% of Tempranillo Blanco and 1 % of other white varieties.
Hand-picked and meticulously selected, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and white oak barrels. After that, the first batch of this Crianza white wine went into French oak barrels and concrete eggs, and the second was kept in the barrels. Both were aged for a period of 12 months.
After sampling the best barrels (only 40% of the total volume), the white wine Viña Salceda Entresierra 2023 was bottled in July 2025.
