Details
The renowned Galician winemaker Rodrigo Méndez presents the wine As Covas Pinot Noir, his take on the world’s most admired red grape.
This Crianza red wine is sourced from Pinot Noir vines around 15 years old planted in granitic soils near sea level, not far from the village Meaño, DO Rías Baixas. The grapes were partially destemmed and then fermented and macerated for 15 days in open-top oak barrels.
After completing the process, the red wine As Covas Pinot Noir 2023 was aged for 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Before hitting the shelves, this Spanish red wine was stored for some months.
It is advisable to aerate this red wine from Rías Baixas before drinking.
