Produced in DO Penedès, the wine Augustus Primer Negre is the entry-level Spanish red wine of Augustus winery (also known as Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm).
This unoaked young red wine is made from Merlot, Grenache and Tempranillo sourced from young vineyards. Each variety was separately vinified.
First, this organic red wine was macerated with the skins before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. Then, the red wine Augustus Primer Negre 2022 was blended and aged for 6 months. This vegan wine was bottled in July 2023.
