This is the new vintage of the Spanish red wine by the Jané Ventura winery formerly known as Jané Ventura Negre Selecció.
From now on, the wine will bear the name Jané Ventura Vinyes Negres, thus completing the Selecció de Vinyes collection.
Harvested by hand and selected, after macerating and fermenting in stainless steel tanks, Jané Ventura Vinyes Negres 2017 was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. After that, it was aged for some months in the bottle.
This Crianza red wine is very versatile.
The red wine Jané Ventura Vinyes Negres is medium ruby with a violet rim.
Loads of ripe, succulent fruit, intertwined with some underbrush. This blend of Ull de llebre, Sumoll, Syrah, Samsó and Grenache also suggests some vegetal and floral nuances, and some toasted and creamy hints.
Agile and fresh, fruit-driven and quite pleasant. Creamy spicy and liquorice remembrances, with some ripe tannins and a nice acidity. This red wine from Jané Ventura has a long finish with some remembrances of toast and garrigue.
