Produced by the Kuhri distillery, Kuhri Violette is an exquisite violet liqueur produced in the region of Alsace, northern France.
This spirit was produced macerating a base grape wine with violets for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. After that, the violet-infused wine was transferred into stainless steel tanks and added cane sugar to induce fermentation. The fermentation process was stopped once the desired alcohol content of this violet liqueur had been reached.
Served chilled, Kuhri Violette makes for a great after-dinner drink. It can also be used in cocktails and patisserie recipes.
