Availability: In stock
This interesting rosé vermouth is made by the well-known Lustau winery from Jerez.
This Spanish vermouth is a blend of a dry, fresh Fino wine made from Palomino, a mildly sweet, gently floral Moscatel wine and a red wine made from the native red variety Tintilla de Rota, which provides the colour.
This vermouth from Jerez was first macerated with a selection of botanicals, such as vanilla, nutmeg, cardamom, chamomile and wormwood. After that, this rosé vermouth from Jerez was aged for 2 years in barrels.
Blood orange-coloured with some copper reflections, the nose suggests aromas of flowers and herbs, with notes of pastry, orange blossom and wild strawberries. The palate of this rosé vermouth from Lustau is smooth and gently sweet, with a nice freshness, a balsamic note and a long finish reminiscent of raw almonds and bitter herbs.
We suggest serving the vermouth Lustau Vermut Rosé in large glasses.
