Made by Celler Masroig, the wine Pinyeres Negre is another impressive value from DO Montsant.
This terroir-oriented Spanish red wine is made from a blend of old-vines Grenache with a 20% Carignan.
Carefully harvested and selected, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, this vegan red wine from Montsant underwent malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, where it was aged for 12 months.
After bottling, the red wine Pinyeres Negre 2023 was aged for a further months in the cellar.
