Bodega Plana d’en Jan, a micro-winery from Penedès focused on producing microvinifications of high-quality vineyards, presents the wine Plana d’en Jan Preciosa, a confidential and sophisticated Spanish white wine.
Made from two local varieties, this white wine from Penedès is a blend of Muscat (80%), sourced from a 1.95 hectare plot around 20 years old, and Montònega (aka Parellada), coming from a singular, 0.33 hectare vineyard planted over five decades ago.
Hand-harvested, meticulously selected and fully destemmed, the grapes were macerated for 4 days at 10ºC before fermenting with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, the white wine Plana d’en Jan Preciosa 2019 was bottled and kept in the cellar for some time before hitting the market.
Only 1,694 bottles produced.
