The spectacular sparkling wine Recaredo Turó d'en Mota takes the ultra-local and minimal intervention biodynamic philosophy of the Recaredo winery to the nex level.
Considered by many the absolute best Spanish sparkling wine, this is also one of the few world sparklers that stands comparison with super premium Champagnes.
A varietal Xarel·lo, the grapes of this vegan sparkling wine come from a 1.5 hectare vineyard planted in 1940 that gives the wine its name ("Turó d'en Mota" means "Mota Hill")
The idea of the winemakers is thus quite clear. One variety - one vineyard - one vintage. The result is a one-of-a-kind Corpinnat Brut Nature sparkling wine.
Exquisitely crafted following the traditional method, the sparkling wine Recaredo Turó d'en Mota 2011 was aged for a minimum of 150 months - almost 13 years - in the cellar prior to its commercial release. No shipping liquor was added to the wine after the disgorging date printed on the back label.
