The spectacular sparkling wine Recaredo Turó d'en Mota takes the ultra-local and minimal intervention biodynamic philosophy of the Demeter certified Recaredo winery to the nex level.
Considered by many the absolute best Spanish sparkling wine, this is also one of the few world sparklers that stands comparison with super premium Champagnes.
A varietal Xarel·lo, this organic sparkling wine is sourced from a 0.97 hectare vineyard planted in 1940, Turó d'en Mota, which has soils with a loamy texture and a high limestone content.
The idea of the winemakers is thus quite clear. One variety - one vineyard - one vintage. The result is a one-of-a-kind Corpinnat Brut Nature sparkling wine.
The grapes were first fermented in oak barrels and then kept on lees for one month with periodic stirrings.
After completing secondary fermentation, the sparkling wine Recaredo Turó d'en Mota 2012 was aged for no less than of 150 months - 12 and a half years - prior to its commercial release.
This astonishing organic Corpinnat sparkling wine was disgorged in late November 2025.

| Palate | Though this varietal organic sparkling wine of the Recaredo winery is a tad riper than previous vintages, it nonetheless boasts its trademark steely acidity, exceptional balance and wonderfully integrated bubbles. The purest expression of fruit goes hand in hand with a fabulously detailed texture. There are some deep mineral notes, enticing bitter remembrances, an amazing sense of place and a never-ending, exquisite finish. |
