The small-batch single vineyard white wine Rodrigo Méndez Tras da Canda Albariño is made by the talented Galician winemaker Rodrigo Méndez, one of the most interesting producers in DO Rías Baixas.
This varietal Spanish white wine is sourced from the Tras da Canda parcel, planted around 15 years ago in ranite, sand and quartz soils, in the Val do Salnés subzone of Rías Baixas.
This white wine from Rías Baixas went through a spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels. After that, the white wine Rodrigo Méndez Tras da Canda Albariño 2024 was aged for 12 months in the barrels.
Before being released onto the market, this Crianza white wine was kept for several months in the cellar.
