Details

The Cava VallDolina Reserva Brut Nature is made from the three traditional Cava varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, plus a tiny amount of Chardonnay.

The grapes were sourced from estate-owned, organically certified vineyards located in the Garraf mountain range, an area with red clay and limestone soils.

After the harvest, this Spanish sparkling wine from bodega Can Tutusaus was vinified and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Secondary fermentation took place inside the bottle. 

Finally, the Cava VallDolina Reserva Brut Nature 2023 was aged for 20 months prior to the disgorgement, which was performed manually.

Pair this organic Cava with light dishes, semi hard cheeses and cold cuts.

Appearance

The Cava VallDolina Reserva Brut Nature is pale straw with some greenish tinges.

Nose

This blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay conveys straightforward aromas of yellow apples, pears and aniseed, with a hint of aromatic herbs and fine lees.

Palate

Bone dry, well-balanced and uplifting, this Cava from Can Tutusaus has a gentle fizz and a medium finish with undertones of white fruit, herbs and pastry.

Our personal opinion

Pithy and easy-to-drink, the Cava Valldolina Reserva Brut Nature 2023 is a great summer tipple.
