Produced by Celler Masroig, a household name in DO Montsant, the wine Ferest Ecològic is an organic Spanish red wine made basically from Grenache and Carignan, rounded with a touch of Syrah.
Made from estate-owned, organically farmed vineyards, the grapes were handpicked and carefully selected. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks, after which this red wine from Montsant was transferred into French oak barrels.
After a period of 6 months, the red wine Ferest Ecològic 2021 was bottled. Finally, it was aged for a further months in the cellar before hitting the market.
Versatile and savoury, this red wine aged in oak will make an excellent pairing with meat recipes.
