A member of the Corpinnat association of producers, bodega Torelló released the sparkling wine Torelló 75 Aniversari Brut to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first harvest at the family estate, Can Martí.
A blend of 57% Xarel·lo, 23% Macabeo and 20% Parellada, this Spanish sparkling wine is sourced from vineyards certified organic located in the said estate.
The hand-harvested grapes went through a meticulous selection on a sorting table before being gently pressed using the Inertys system, which prevents the wine must from oxidating. After fermenting in stainless steel tanks, this organic sparkling wine from Penedès was blended and bottled in the winter.
Once secondary fermentation was completed, the Corpinnat sparkling wine Torelló 75 Aniversari Brut 2018 was aged for 75 months before being disgorged and added a small amount of liqueur de dosage.
This is a small-batch Corpinnat brut sparkling wine. Only 1,600 bottles produced.
