The sparkling wine Torelló Enoteca 225 Brut Nature is made by the Torelló winery, a member of the Corpinnat association of producers from Penedés. The number 225 indicates that this Spanish sparkling wine was vinified in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Sourced from finca Can Martí, the family estate, the grapes were hand-picked, carefully sorted and gently pressed using the Intertys system, which prevents must oxidation.
As said, this Corpinnat sparkling wine from Penedès was fermented in Allier oak barrels. After completing the process, it was blended and bottled in the winter.
The sparkling wine Torelló Enoteca 225 Brut Nature 2015 was then aged for 9+ years, clarified by hand and, being a brut nature, added no dosage after being disgorged.
This is a small-batch Sparkling wine from Penedès. Only 1,900 bottles produced.
